COLD DRAWING LINES Drawing is the process of narrowing the cross-section of the material passed through the drawing lines at room temperature to obtain a bright surface and precise diameter tolerance. The raw material in the form of drawn bars and coils is hot rolled steel. In order to remove scale and rust on the surface of the hot rolled material (mechanical cleaning), a shot blasting process is applied before cold drawing.
